Top 5 hospitality blogs and vlogs
Check out out Top 5 hospitality blogs and vlogs to watch and follow...
The lockdown in the UK is beginning to lift and hopefully even more venues will open next month, allowing more customers both outside and in. During lockdown people have been consuming an increased amount of digital media. Having more dwell time to look at their phones and laptops, people have had more time to watch videos, listen to podcast..scroll through Instagram, so we wanted to take a quick look back at some of the hospitality blog/vlogs and youtubers that kept us entertained this last year.
1. La Maison Wellness
Headed up by the world-famous Camille Vidal, La Maison Wellness is carving a path for themselves as the definitive voice on all things Mindful. Their different social channels feature recipes, live tastings, reviews and a huge array of N/a Cocktail recipes. Cami can also be spotted on Channel Four’s Sunday Brunch from time to time.

2. The Dean Callan Shop
This long-time show has been a staple for the Bartender. Dean’s cheeky and charismatic persona rings clear through all the different videos he has produced which include some great bar techniques and must know recipes anyone can do, as well as amazing interviews with some hospitality legends. His recent coverage of the reopening of the bars around London live on Facebook was a brilliant welcome back.

3. The Craft Beer Pin Up
The Craft beer Pin up has been reviewing beers in her Bombshell way since 2016. Full of knowledge on the growing craft beer revolution Kimberley also loves bright coloured hair, High heels, pin up fashion and Burlesque. The Craft beer Pin up is an amazing example of how Beer isn’t just for boys anymore. Checkout her live beer tastings on insta!!

4. The Pump Room
Honestly one of the funniest channel I watch. Cressie & Ali are comedians, bartenders, content providers and proudly gay. Each video is unique and humorous wither they are cutting limes with a machete or making a redneck slushy machine. These two bring alcohol related content a breath of fresh air and a lot of bleeped out swear words. Not for Kids..

5. Cook - Hook
We all know someone who started a blog during lockdown and there is only so many times you can “like” a picture of the same plant before you unsubscribe. Cook - Hook is not like those other blogs. Luke Condell who has worked in world class kitchens and bars alike, launched his blog to keep himself busy. He makes Michelin quality food look effortless. I look forward to his blog growing large than Instagram!!!

As we see hospitality finally return to some kind of new normal, we hope to see brands and businesses continue to develop their digital and social media marketing. Engaging with and educating consumers, allowing them to learn, recruit and engross their customers in ways they may not have been pre-pandemic.
